Founded in 2016, Gimora was born out of Ayla’s 15 years of experience in the luxury sector of marketing and sales, a history filled with travels and a dedication to finding the latest in fashion and jewelry. This passion for choosing the best of European and Meditarranean styles carried over when Ayla was designing and selecting the pieces that would be in her first collection. And, she knew exactly where to go to execute her vision: The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul.  The oldest covered market in the world, the Grand Bazaar is renowned for production of all hand-made jewelry using high-quality jewels and materials. These craftsmen are following in the footsteps of generations of artisans before them who care about every detail of the products they make.

Much like great craftsmanship, Ayla chose the name Gimora out of a love for all great fashion and the attitude and way of living that reflects the modern woman. Who is she…this Gimora woman?
